Eligibility to take admission in BSc Animation is 10+2 passed or equivalent
qualification with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. The students from Science
stream are preferred.
B.Sc Animation is a multifaceted course imbibing ‘Visual Arts’, ‘Film
Making,’ ‘Concept Development’ ‘3D’ and others. The course gets administrated &
taught in a variety of forms and syllabuses depending much on the institution
hosting the discipline. Some Universities offer this degree under the name of
B.Sc Multimedia, B.Sc Animation and Multimedia.
The three years degree course offered a complete knowledge on 2D classical
and Digital, 3D Animation and Visual effects.
The first semester covers fundamentals of art and designs, the second
includes classical and digital animation, the third covers elements of 3D when
the student becomes capable of developing 3D short films.
The fourth semester students are exposed to visual effects and the fifth
semester student can chose any one of the above for his specialization to learn
the advance module, so that in the sixth semester he prepares his portfolio in a
selected module.
