ADMISSION PROCEDURE

• AIIMS Rishikesh 2024 admission is conducted online mode only. Admission to all the undergraduate, postgraduate, super-speciality, and doctoral programmes is entrance-based. Once the entrance exam is cleared by the candidates with an eligible score, upon counselling, they are directed to bring the required documents for further verification and a Personal Interview (PI) round. Due to the Covid-19 surge in India, AIIMS has currently postponed admission to most of the programmes. Final selection of candidates for these programmes is based on the overall performance of the aspirants

Infrastructure/Facilities

All the lecture theatres are modernized and centrally air conditioned with Wi-Fi facilities and all modern facilities. For library, we have a central library with access to all the Editorial, Research and Journal across the globe. Mess and canteen are hygienic and up to the mark. In sports we have cricket, soccer, kabaddi, lawn tennis, table tennis, badminton, chess, pool, snooker, basketball and volleyball..

Computer Labs

Motherhood University is the focal point of the Institute, and at the core of it we have highly Sophisticated Computer labs, fully equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software. The labs have a network of computers under the Client Server Architecture, which work jointly under the Windows environment. All computing machines have connected peripherals like printers, scanners etc.

Faculty:

We have an excellent line of faculty members available to teach and mentor us through every stepping stone of the course. We follow OSPE, OSCE and MCQ based pattern with 50% internal markings. Difficulty depends on the individual. The more you utilize your time the more easy it becomes.

Canteen

It is the favourite haunt of the students during their spare time. It offers variety of food at reasonable price. Sandwiches, coffee, soft drinks, hot snacks and soft drinks are available in the institute canteen serving hygienically cooked food. In order to satisfy the appetites of the students and to give them a break after a day’s hard work.

Sports & Games

Sports and physical activities are an integral part of our curriculum. The institute has facilities for both indoor & Outdoor sports-table Tennis Room, Carom Room, Chess, Indoor Badminton Court. The campus is one of the most versatile campus with various activities and sports events conducted throughout the year. Sports play an integral role in the overall development of students and due emphasis is laid on games and sports. The sport week is organized in each session where students participate with full enthusiasm.

Dr. Kavita Khoiwae

Dr. Kavita Khoiwal,Associate prof.,Dept of Obst and Gyny, @aiimsrishi entered in Limca book of records 2022 for removal of heaviest malignant ovarian tumor (41.1 Kg) on 21st August 2020 with her team.The size of the ovarian tumor was approx 60x50x40 cm.
