ADMISSION PROCEDURE

• (a) Applicants seeking admission to any of the academic programmes are advised to send their applications on the prescribed format obtained from the Admission Cell of Motherhood University, Roorkee on payment of Rs. 1500/- (which can also be downloaded from the University website: www.mhu.edu.in), All payments must be made by demand draft drawn in favour of “Motherhood University” payable at ‘Bhagwan Pur, Roorkee.
• b) Applicants must enclosed a demand draft of Rs. 1500/- (Rupees fifteen hundered only) in favour of “Motherhood University” payable at Bhagwan Pur Roorkee, if application form is downloaded from the website of the Motherhood University, Roorkee
• c) The Candidate are advised to go through the details of the Programme interested in and its eligibility criteria before applying for the same.
• d) The application form should be submitted or sent to “The Registrar Motherhood University, Roorkee- Dehradun Road, Vill. Karoundi, Post Bhagwanpur, Tehsil Roorkee, Distt. Haridwar , Uttarakhand-247661, India” on or before the due date.
• e) All the information furnished in the application form should be carefully filled, complete and correct to the best knowledge of` the aspirants and followings duly attested copies of all the required documents/certificates must be enclosed:
  • i. 10th mark sheet
  • ii. 12th mark sheet
  • iii. 10th Pass certificate
  • iv. 12th pass certificate
  • v. Domicile ( for permanent residents of Uttarakhand )
  • vi. Annual Income certificate
  • vii. Transfer certificate/ Migration Certificate
  • viii. Character certificate
  • ix. 15 passport size photographs
  • x. Proof of entitlement for a particular reservation category (SC/ST/OBC Certificate)
  • xi. Pre-Qualifying Test Score card (if any)
  • xii. Medical Fitness certificate
  • xiii. Aadhar card
• f) On receipt of the completed application form, and satisfying all the requirements and eligibility criteria for admission to any of the academic programmes, candidate shall be considered for provisional admission to particular academic programme, subject to the availability of seats.
• g) Incomplete application forms, received after the due date will be rejected without any intimation to the students.
• h) Once the students are being admitted to the University, an Anti-Ragging affidavit by students & parents both on stamp paper of Rs. 10/- duly attested by the oath commissioner/notary, has to be submitted.
• i) University may ask for submission of any certificate or document to the student prior or at the time of admission or afterwards, for the purpose of admission or otherwise, as decided by the University.

Infrastructure/Facilities

At Motherhood University Dehradun the students are endowed with modern infra and convenient amenities that make their life ‘go easy’ in college hours, alongside make learning more interesting.

Computer Labs

Motherhood University is the focal point of the Institute, and at the core of it we have highly Sophisticated Computer labs, fully equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software. The labs have a network of computers under the Client Server Architecture, which work jointly under the Windows environment. All computing machines have connected peripherals like printers, scanners etc.

Library

The Motherhood University library has comfortable sitting space, wi-fi internet facility for searching the web, assistance from the Library staff helps the students to get correct and relevant information from Internet and Books. ITM provides a set of books at the start of the semester to every student for the entire duration. This unique facility assists the Student in having the updated versions and publications for the course duration.

Canteen

It is the favourite haunt of the students during their spare time. It offers variety of food at reasonable price. Sandwiches, coffee, soft drinks, hot snacks and soft drinks are available in the institute canteen serving hygienically cooked food. In order to satisfy the appetites of the students and to give them a break after a day’s hard work.

Sports & Games

Sports and physical activities are an integral part of our curriculum. The institute has facilities for both indoor & Outdoor sports-table Tennis Room, Carom Room, Chess, Indoor Badminton Court. The campus is one of the most versatile campus with various activities and sports events conducted throughout the year. Sports play an integral role in the overall development of students and due emphasis is laid on games and sports. The sport week is organized in each session where students participate with full enthusiasm.

Bridging the Gap: Police ki Pathshala Empowers Youth at Motherhood University, Roorkee

Imagine a classroom where seasoned police officers become your teachers! This is exactly what transpired at Motherhood University, Roorkee, as the Amar Ujala Foundation hosted a session under its impactful initiative, “Police ki Pathshala”. Guided by the powerful slogan, “कानून का सम्मान-कानून से जीवन आसान” (Respect the Law – Law Makes Life Easier), the program brought together senior police officials, including the SSP, SP, Traffic Police officers, and even cybersecurity experts, to interact with enthusiastic students. This interactive session wasn’t just about memorizing legal codes. It was about fostering a sense of responsibility within young minds. The officers emphasized the importance of obeying laws, not just out of fear, but for a safer and more secure society. Discussions covered various safety issues, from fire safety techniques (demonstrated live!) to effective communication channels with the police. Students were even equipped with crucial contact information to ensure they have a voice in maintaining peace and order.
