About us :- Himgiri Zee University has been established to meet the growing demand for trained human resources in various social, educational, scientific, technical and professional organizations so as to channel human energy towards sustainable economic and social development.
In order to make a positive difference to education and employment, Shri Subhash Chandra, Chairman, Essel Group of Industries and Zee Telefilms had brought together in 1995 a group of committed anthropologists, sociologists, economists and development communications professionals to set up TALEEM Research Foundation in Ahmedabad. One of the mandates of Taleem Research Foundation was to set up the Himgiri Zee University.
Based on the motto `Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ (World as Family), Himgiri Zee University has been established for the vocationalisation of higher education which is national in character and transnational in jurisdiction. The University is characterized by its resolve not to discriminate on grounds of caste, creed, residence, community, gender and religion. HZU has been established under Act No. 17 of 2003 of the State Legislative Assembly, Government of Uttaranchal (Act 2003, Uttaranchal Adhiniyam Sankhya 17 of 2003) and has since become operational.

ADMISSION PROCEDURE-
ICRI Dehradun admission is currently ongoing for the MBBS programme. ICRI Dehradun NEET (Phase-2) registration will close on October 13. The Institution of Clinical Research India Dehradun (ICRI Dehradun – Himgiri Zee University) is a branch of the first institute in India for Clinical Research & Healthcare, ICRI.
ICRI Dehradun Admission 2024
ICRI Dehradun offers full-time BSc and BBA in various specialisations at UG level. The institute offers MSc, MBA and PG Diploma at PG level in different specialisations. For research scholars, PhD is awarded by the institute.
- Admission process for UG programmes is followed by a Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) conducted by ICRI
- Admission into MBA programme is based on the scores of CAT/ MAT/ CMAT or an equivalent entrance exam
- For admission in MSc, a graduate or postgraduate in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Microbiology/ Pharmacy/ Nursing/ Medicine/ Physiotherapy/ Dentistry/ Ayurvedic and Veterinary Science is a must
- Candidates applying for admission to PhD must sit for a written test conducted by the university
- Admission forms are filled-up online through the official website of ICRI
- Final selection of the candidates will be done after a written examination, personal interview and screening

Motherhood University is the focal point of the Institute, and at the core of it we have highly Sophisticated Computer labs, fully equipped with state-of-the-art hardware and software. The labs have a network of computers under the Client Server Architecture, which work jointly under the Windows environment. All computing machines have connected peripherals like printers, scanners etc.Faculty:
We have an excellent line of faculty members available to teach and mentor us through every stepping stone of the course. We follow OSPE, OSCE and MCQ based pattern with 50% internal markings. Difficulty depends on the individual. The more you utilize your time the more easy it becomes.Canteen
